Phillawatts Sun Trackers operate on as small as 1.5watt solar cells. Heavy loads will require PV's scaled to the motor, however, most applications can run from the our Tracker Kit's motor and 1.5watt PV cell. We sell do-it-yourself manuals with complete instructions and part sources as well.

The Phillawatt Sun Tracker operates on 12 volt to 24 volt DC. Current consumption is 130 ma. Mounting is accommodated with a mounting bracket that can be drilled and formed for your application. A 6-foot power cord is fitted with a quick disconnect connector that attaches to our PV cell included in our tracker kit. The water- resistant case is intended for fast and easy installation. Motors, and torque amplifiers are plug and play with the tracker kit so call for details.

The Phillawatt Concentrating Trough Collector Kit contains all of the hardware to assemble a 4-foot by 4-foot trough. A recommended flow rate from 1.5 to 2.5 gpm (gallons per minute) will produce approximately 20,000 BTU's per day, depending on your installation and global location.
Our units are manufactured in Colorado at altitude. Our troughs rotate around the center receiving tube and can be connected to form troughs of multiple lengths. The trough weighs 17 pounds. Add a tracker and the weight is 26 pounds.

 The Concentrating Parabolic Dish is 2 feet in diameter and only comes with two mounting bolts. Add two tracking systems or manually adjust for seasons. Temperatures in excess of 1100 degrees F at the 12-inch focal point are common at Colorado's altitude. Shipping weight is 4 pounds.
Use for cooking, sterling engines, water pasteurization.
